Precision Air Services Plc has successfully renewed its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) issued by the Tanzania Civil
Aviation Authority (TCAA), reaffirming the airline’s compliance with the highest aviation
safety and operational standards required to conduct commercial air transport operations
in Tanzania and beyond
The renewal follows TCAA’s comprehensive five-phase recertification process, to all air
operator registered in Tanzania. The process comprising the Pre-Application, Formal
Application, Document Evaluation, Demonstration and Inspection, and Certification
phases. Throughout the process, Precision Air successfully demonstrated highest level of
compliance with all applicable aviation safety, operational, maintenance, and regulatory
requirements. The successful completion of the recertification process reaffirms the
airline’s continued commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, regulatory
compliance, and operational excellence. The Air Operator Certificate is a mandatory
certification for all commercial airlines operating in Tanzania and confirms that an airline
has the technical capability, qualified personnel, organisational structure, and operational
systems necessary to conduct safe and reliable air transport services.
