AWARD WINNING NEW BUSINESS CLASS ‘QSUITE‘ COMES TO CHICAGO

Qatar Airways announced that it will introduce its groundbraking new Business Class seat, Qsuite, on flights from Chicago starting 01st of April, allowing even more travellers to experience the new standard of luxury, comfort, and customisation in international travel set by the airline, and strengthening its commitment to its gateway markets in the United States.
The introduction of the globally-acclaimed and award winning Business Class seat on Qatar Airways flights from Chicago extends Qsuite’s existing U.S. presence at both New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Washington D.C.’s Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD).

Qsuite features the industry’s first-ever double bed available in Business Class and customisable private cabins for up to four people, perfect for friends, families and business colleagues traveling together. With adjustable panels and movable TV monitors on the centre four seats, Qsuite provides the ultimate personalised travel experience that enables passengers to create an environment that suits their own unique needs.
The expansion of Qsuite to Chicago is part of Qatar Airways’ commitment to continuously revolutionise the passenger experience, enabling travellers to enjoy First Class amenities within the airline’s Business Class cabin. Qsuite will be fitted on the Qatar Airways Boeing 777-300 ER out of Chicago O’Hare International Airport, and will later be introduced on the airline’s state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900 aircraft on flights from New York City – the first U.S destination to feature Qsuite on this ultra-modern, fuel-efficient aircraft.
The expansion of Qsuite throughout the U.S. follows a triumphant year of award wins. Qatar Airways currently holds the title of ‘Airline of the Year’ as awarded at the prestigious 2017 Skytrax World Airline Awards at the Paris Air Show, where the airline received a host of other notable accolades, including ‘Best Middle East Airline,’ ‘World’s Best Business Class’ and ‘World’s Best First Class Airline Lounge.’
One of the world’s fastest-growing airlines, Qatar Airways currently operates a modern fleet of more than 200 aircraft flying to business and leisure destinations across six continents. As part of its continued expansion plans, the airline also recently commenced service to both Chiang Mai and Pattaya, Thailand; Penang, Malaysia and Canberra, Australia. The airline plans to launch a host of new destinations in 2018-19, including London Gatwickr and Cardiff, United Kingdom; Lisbon, Portugal; Tallinn, Estonia; Valletta, Malta; Cebu and Davao, Philippines; Langkawi, Malaysia; Da Nang, Vietnam; Bodrum, Antalya and Hatay, Turkey; Mykonos, Greece and Málaga, Spain.
In Eastern Africa does Qatar Airways serve Uganda with daily flights from Doha but also flies to Kigali, Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar and Kilimanjaro.
Meanwhile has the airline also rebranded their frequent flyer loyalty programme under the slogan – ‘Don’t just collect miles, collect memories’.
The refreshed brand identity, which was initially announced at ITB Berlin earlier this month, will include a range of new programme enhancements, and bring a new luxurious look and feel to the programme, coinciding more closely with Qatar Airways’ brand.
Over the upcoming weeks, Privilege Club will launch a number of celebratory offers and more programme enhancements, including a new member log in area, dashboard and other functionalities designed to make the members’ experience with Qatar Airways easier and more seamless than ever before. Programme guides have also been updated to reflect Privilege Club’s new programme changes and newly added partnerships.
