JUBA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ANNOUNCES NEW OPERATING HOURS FOLLOWING CHANGE OF TIME ZONE TO UTC +2

The South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority has announced the new operating hours for Juba International Airport, following the decision of the government of South Sudan to change the country’s time zone from UTC +3 to UTC +2.

The new operating times are as follows:
Opening Time: 06:00 am Local Time or 04:00 am GMT
Closing Time: 05:30 pm Local Time or 03:30 pm GMT
Juba International Airport therefore remains open only during daylight hours with no operations possible between 17.30 hrs local time and 06.00 hrs local time or between 15.30 hrs UTC and 04.00 hrs UTC.
