A young elephant bull visited the Conservation Lower Zambezi – CLZ camp recently….he seemed really chilled which allowed a great first encounter and an opportunity to assess his demeanor. Later in the day, the same bull turned up close to the kennels.
Having had the experience earlier in the day, we knew he’d be chilled and leapt at the opportunity to introduce K9 Hammer and his handler to elephant in a safe and positive way. …
