Details are now available on the recently signed order for 10 aircraft by Uganda Airlines – as reported by ATCNews a few days ago:
Uganda Airlines fleet fragmentation continues with Boeing order
Valued at around 3.7 trillion Ugandan Shilling or approximately US Dollars 985 million will the order comprise 8 passenger and two cargo aircraft.

The airline presently flies two Airbus A330-800Neo, one Airbus A320 (leased) and four Mitsubishi (formerly Bombardier) CRJ900. In addition did the airline recently wet-lease two Boeing B737-800 aircraft from Ethiopian Airlines, which followed a short term lease of a Boeing B787, used to resume long haul operations while both Airbus A330-800Neo planes were grounded over maintenance issues.
