Uganda’s Minister for Tourism has announced that come World Tourism Day 2026, Uganda National Parks will throw their doors open and grant free entrance between September 25th and 27th.
Minister Susan Nakawuki said the offer is open to both Ugandan citizens, foreign residents of Uganda and foreign visitors.
The special offer is bound to boost visits to the parks and lodges and safari camps inside and outside the parks are bracing for booming business since visitors over those days will be able to safe the otherwise often hefty fees for park visits.
