Starting 18th of November 2024 will the Uganda Tourism Board together with the Uganda Police start closing accommodation facilities that do not have a valid tourism operating license.
This notice was given to both owners and managers who were reminded to ensure their business is registered and licensed to avoid closure.
Added the notice: ‘It’s essential that we uphold the highest standards to guarantee that tourists experience the best of Uganda’s hospitality.’
