| A total of 30 elephants have been fitted with GPS-enabled satellite collars in and around Hwange National Park in a move expected to improve wildlife monitoring and help authorities tackle escalating human-wildlife conflict. The latest collaring exercise involved three female and three male elephants, bringing to 30 the number of elephants collared under a partnership between ZimParks and IFAW since the programme began in early 2024. |
