With over 1 000 meetings already set up on the online diary system, Meetings Africa 2022 is set to remain true to its purpose of bringing together buyers and exhibitors and growing the business events industry on the continent.

Meetings Africa 2022: No Virtual Platform for Exhibitions

Although the 2022 edition of Meeting will take a hybrid format, exhibitions are strictly physical.  However, buyers have a virtual option to join the event which will take place from February 28 – March 2 at the Sandton Convention Centre. Read more  here




Ugandan Conservationists leverage Technology to save Mountain Gorillas


A pioneering initiative to protect Uganda’s mountain gorilla population has officially been launched, leveraging technology to create sustainable sources of non-trekking revenues to fund conservation. RoundBob and The Naturalist, Ugandan conservation enterprises working with Uganda Wildlife Authority, have launched My Gorilla Family, a subscription-based mobile application that allows users to join. Media Registration Open for Meetings Africa Media registration for the 16th installment of Meetings Africa is officially open. After the cancellation of the 2021 edition due to the COVID-19 pandemic, South African Tourism is excited to once again host Meetings Africa in physical format this year. Under the theme “Shared Minds. Shared Economies”, this year’s trade show will take place on 1 and 2 March 2022 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
