Windhoek joins the growing network of Ethiopian Airlines

53 DESTINATIONS IN AFRICA AND COUNTING

(Posted 26th August 2016)

Come October 04th will Ethiopian Airlines commence nonstop flights between Addis Ababa and the Namibian capital of Windhoek. The daily service will use a Boeing B737-800NG in a two class configuration of 138 seats in economy and 15 in business class.
This latest addition will bring the number of African cities served by Ethiopian Airlines to 53 overall, the largest number among any African and international airlines flying across the continent.
Namibia is among the countries considered as difficult to reach when flying from one African country to another and regularly requires transit in such places like Johannesburg. This nonstop flight, connecting to the global Ethiopian network, gives a boost to Namibia’s continental and global reachability.
