ZIMBABWE SHIFTS FOCUS TO PROMOTE MORE THAN VICTORIA FALLS AND GREAT ZIMBABWE

Zimbabwe’s Tourism Authority has launched already its second ‘Destination Newslettter’ in order to promote some of the internationally lesser known destinations such as the Eastern Highlands but also Lake Kariba and the Zambezi Valley.

The format comes as a PDF file and can be accessed by ATC Readers through the link shown above to serve as a current and future fact file on Zimbabwe’s many attractions.

After the regime change have the fortunes of the country in the global tourism arena visibly improved, demand has risen, new airlines are flying into Victoria Falls and are planning to fly into Harare and there is a new wave of positivity among tourism stakeholders, keen to once again showcase their country to the world – as a stand alone destinations as much as part of a multi country visit into Southern Africa with the UniVisa between Zambia and Zimbabwe supporting that aim.
