There is clearly much demand in learning about Digital Marketing, and Charlotte Beauvoisin, publisher of the Diary of a Muzungu – a multiple award winning publication – has once more shared her experience as a marketing practitioner with a group of tour operators, hotel and lodge operators and travel agents from across Kampala. Among them were staff members and owners of such companies like:

Banda Island Nile it – Resort and Campsite The Mvule Boat Makindye Country Club The Athena Hotel Uganda Kyota Musana and Mpanga Cycads; Broadbill Forest Camp, Ruhija; Philo Leisure Gardens, Kalangala; Africa Hikers Safari; Navigation Africa; Lukonge Tours and Travel; Wakanda Village; Voyager Suites, Olive Nakiyemba and Steadfast Safaris

Starting at 9 am at the Athena Hotel in Bugolobi, which again proved to be an excellent venue choice, did the seminar extend until after 2 pm.
Before starting off did the hotel serve snacks, coffee and tea to fortify the participants before at 11 am a coffee break provided more sustenance for the final stretch of the training.
From the professional use of Facebook Pages over Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media platforms to ways and means how to boost one’s visibility – Facebook provides a paid for option to increase viewers for pictures and articles posted – Charlotte had answers to every question asked and recommendations how to solve challenges of the digitally not yet so advanced participants.

Charlotte will announce the dates of the next training sessions and has confirmed that even upcountry venues are being considered such as Kabale, Mbarara, Jinja and Mbale, as long as there is the demand to hold regional training sessions with the expert coming to the users instead of the participants having to travel to Kampala.
