CAPTAIN DAVID SAVY SPEAKS AT IATA AGM

Captain David Savy, Chairman of Veling Ltd gave an update at the IATA AGM 2018 held in Sydney, Australia about the International Airline Training Fund (IATF)’s work to sponsor training in the operational safety area. Captain David Savy has been a member of the IATA Training Fund Council since September 2011 and Veling Ltd is honoured to be associated with such a noble organisation through Captain David Savy.
The International Airline Training Fund (IATF) is a non-profit foundation whose purpose is to bridge the training gaps for airlines in regions of the world where it is most needed. Training opportunities are offered in most areas of the airline business, but priority is given to training in airline’s operational safety. IATF is funded by donations from IATA members and other organizations involved in the air transport industry.
The IATA Annual General Meeting (AGM) and World Air Transport Summit is the world’s largest gathering of airline leaders. The 74th AGM, hosted by Qantas, brought 1000 industry leaders to Sydney on between the 03rd and 05th of June 2018.
