Karibu / KiliFair eyes over 4.000 trade visitors

JOINING HANDS PAYS OFF AS KARIBU / KILIFAIR AIM AT NEW VISITOR RECORD

After several years of bitter rivalry, which also left the tourism industry in a bind which fair – the two were held only two weeks and 70 kilometres apart – has the announcement last year of the two organizers joining hands paid off handsomely.
To be held at alternative venues in Arusha and Moshi is the fair emerging as Eastern Africa’s largest of its kind for the tourism industry.
Both TATO – hitherto organizers of the Karibu Travel Market – and Kilifair Promotion are now expecting a record turnout at the inaugural edition of the combined two fairs with estimates now looking at over 4.000 tourism trade visitors from the region and beyond.
More exhibitors too are expected this year, giving greater value to trade visitors who in the past too had to make a choice which fair to attend due to time and budget constraints.
350+ exhibitors will be able to meet over 300+ hosted and part hosted buyers and travel media from around the world besides other trade visitors from the region flocking to Moshi where the inaugural joint event will be held.
The trade fair will open its doors on 01st of June and run for three days, prior to which – or afterwards as arranged, hosted buyers and media will be able to participate in familiarisation tours to see national parks and other attractions in mainly northern Tanzania.

The show organizers are also present at WTM Africa which opens its doors today in Cape Town and are found on stand J04.
