#Lamu Cultural Festival 2018 – just four weeks away

LAMU GEARS UP FOR THE 2018 CULTURAL FESTIVAL

(Posted 25th October 2018)

This year’s Lamu Cultural Festival will take from the 22nd of November until the 25th of November and the historic town is already gearing up towards the expected inflow of tourists, local and international alike.
Bookings with airlines flying from Wilson Airport and Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Lamu are said to be taken up fast and the fares are not getting any lower the closer the dates come.
Hotels and guest houses on Lamu are also reporting an inflow of bookings for the duration of the festival which will give local tourism and hospitality businesses a shot in the arm after what can best be described as a mediocre season so far.
