Meaningful Tourism Webinar on December 13th, 2022

Meaningful Tourism is a new approach to help companies and destinations to create a more sustainable tourism development.

The Meaningful Tourism Center is offering a free Webinar on Youtube on December 13th, 2022, to introduce the concept and to celebrate the publication of an eBook “Meaningful Tourism – Best Practice Examples for a Sustainable Future” which is published on the same day.

The main part of both the webinar and the book will be the presentation of Best Practice Examples by the winners of the Meaningful Tourism Award 2022. In the eBook, 18 Best Practice Examples are included, during the webinar six winners will explain their innovative projects for a better tourism of tomorrow. Topic range from empowering homeless people to become tour guides to five star hotel resorts going local, destinations range from Antarctica to London and from Sierra Leone to British Columbia.

The webinar participants will be:

The Webinar will be available online from 09:00 to 11:30 h and again from 15:00 h to 17:30 h GMT on Youtube and is free of charge.
