| Our Wonderful Wild Dogs |
| The African wild dog is endangered, mainly due to habitat loss and disease. Populations in the wild are estimated to be between just three and five thousand, so our wildlife department were thrilled when a pack of nine started making a regular appearance on Ol Pejeta back in May 2011. Since then, our population has grown to an impressive 32 individuals spread across two packs – the Bahati Pack (bahati means lucky in Swahili) and the Ol Pejeta pack. Between them this year, the packs have produced 18 pups.
There has never been a better time to come to Ol Pejeta and see if you are lucky enough to encounter these beautiful and endangered animals.

| The Butterfly Effect |
| When fostering sister school connections, in addition to cultural exchanges, PA-MOJAalso aims to encourage educational interactions.
In 2013, the PA-MOJA team realized that it was difficult to do cultural exchanges at secondary schools, both in North America and Kenya, because of the amount of curriculum at the upper grades. They wanted to have secondary students learn together in a way that could support their academic interests. The Butterfly Effect was born.
