#RwandAir brings the #Airbus #A330 to #CapeTown over festive season

RISE IN DEMAND SEES RWANDAIR BRING A LARGER AIRCRAFT ON #KIGALI #HARARE #CAPETOWN ROUTE

(Posted 29th November 2018)

#Rwanda’s national airline, RwandAir, will be upgrading capacity on their flights between Kigali, Harare and Cape Town between the 28th of December to the 14th of January.
The presently four flights a week, operated with a Boeing B738, will during that time see an Airbus A330 deployed, which adds substantially more seats on the route.
RwandAir has traffic rights between Harare and Cape Town and both travel between South Africa and Zimbabwe but also between Rwanda, Zimbabwe and South Africa has seen a marked upshift in demand since first launching the route with a CRJ900 and only three flights a week.
Further capacity increases are thought to be in the making next year, when RwandAir will take delivery of additional aircraft, allowing them to boost both flight frequencies and launch new destinations.
