Safaris by air – no better way to discover Tanzania’s northern national parks

According to information received yesterday has Regional Air Services in Arusha moved offices.

The new, larger and more easily accessible premises are at the Sable Square, Ngaramtoni ya Chini. The new location finally offers ample parking for travellers coming to book, pay for or pick tickets, do some shopping, enjoy the various eateries and coffee houses and most importantly it is within close proximity to the Arusha Airport from where many of the Regional Air flights take off or land.

The move to Sable Square, according to comments received from management, will enhance customer service and ensure that travellers will get better value from the new location.

In a related development it was also learned that Regional Air now has a new team in Operations and Reservations who are geared to give our customers an even better level of service.

Tanzania’s northern safari circuit of Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti is easily accessible from the Arusha Municipal Airport by air and as most lodges and tented camps have purpose built 4×4 safari vehicles available, for airstrip transfers and game drives, are air safaris simply the best way to experience the big wilderness without having to spend hours at end on roads. Several of the properties in particular in the Serengeti use smaller airstrips which serve that location exclusively and tourists therefore can literally fly to these camps’ doorsteps.
