Zimbabwe appoints Black Panther Star, others as tourism Ambassadors

The Zimbabwean government as appointed famous Black Panther star Danai Gurira as one of the tourism ambassadors of the Southern African nation.

Environment, Tourism and Hospitality Industry Minister Prisca Mupfumira made the appointment on Tuesday at the launch of Tour Africa-New Horizon Project.

The block buster movie was the highest grossing film in southern, East and West Africa ever.

Other personalities appointed by the Zimbabwean government include: Touchroad International Holdings chairman Dr He Liehui, rugby player Tendai “Beast” Mtawarira and songstress Penelope Jane Powers (PJ Powers) were also appointed as tourism ambassadors.
