Seychelles’ Tourism Minister set to address the Conde Nast Luxury Travel Forum

MINISTER ST. ANGE IN DUBAI FOR THE CONDE NAST LUXURY TRAVEL FORUM 2016

Ahead of the Conde Nast Luxury Travel Forum 2016 later today, which Minister St. Ange is going to address, has the Minister also used his presence in Dubai enroute home from the pre COP22 Tourism Ministers Meeting in Morocco to address the regional media.
The Seychelles Minister was invited to the Sky News Arabia Studios in Dubai at Dubai Media City for a live interview that lasted 7 minutes in the Station’s news program.
Minister St.Ange was questioned on the island’s booming tourism trade and the growth now so evident from the UAE and the greater Middle East. Seychelles is recording 45% growth over last year’s figures on a year to date basis from the Gulf and this with 25.000 in visitor numbers. The Seychelles Minister gave credit to the excellent air access between Abu Dhabi with Etihad Airlines and Air Seychelles and Dubai with Emirates. ‘We have over two flights a day everyday from Abu Dhabi and a further two flights from Dubai. We are but four hours flight away and we do not require a visa for our visitors to enter Seychelles. We have a pristine environment with turquoise blue seas that is clean and clear and we have powdery white sandy beaches that is also clean. we are just paradise‘ the Seychelles Minister said love on air as the most spectacular pictures of Seychelles were being beamed to the Arabic world on Sky News.

Minister St.Ange also explained the Seychelles sustainable tourism approach and the island’s continued drive to consolidate its tourism industry.
