Egypt comes to Uganda – well at least food, song and dance do.

SHERATON KAMPALA AND EGYPT AIR JOIN HANDS TO ‘BRING EGYPT TO UGANDA

(Posted 19th March 2015)

Egyptian culture, song, dance and food will make a flying visit to Kampala / Uganda courtesy of Egypt Air, which has teamed up with the Sheraton Kampala Hotel to promote inter African exchanges.

The airline flies several times a week between Entebbe and Cairo and as a member of Star Alliance, the world’s leading aviation alliance offers connections into America, Europe, the Middle and Far East.

The Sheraton Kampala in turn has a reputation to actively seek partnerships with airlines and other service providers to offer their clientele a wide range of ethnic food and culture festivals spread across the year.

The Egyptian Night will take place on the 28th of March and is a one off event, so those keen to experience belly dances, a Tanura show or a range of Egyptian dishes, better book soon before the event is sold out.

The Sheraton Kampala is the city’s oldest star rated hotel, initially opened as the Apollo Hotel in the 1960’s and came first under Sheraton management in the late 1980’s before being acquired by Constellation Hotels and turned into a franchise operation when the Ugandan government started to privatize their business portfolio in the 1990’s.
